Native to the island of Jaragua (duh), a full grown adult Jaragua lizard can grow up to 16mm! It can fit on the surface of a dime! It is so small that it will shrivel up and die within seconds if left out in the sun.It is the smallest of the 23,000 known species of terrestrial vertebrates (amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals.)
Pretty cool, eh? I wish I had one...
